We reviewed the unofficial ICDA-US 2023 Conference minutes and cross-referenced the motions made at the Conference with the spreadsheet created by the ICDA-US Board. We noticed one thing that needs clarification.

According to the ICDA-US 2023 Conference Meeting Minutes (Monday Excerpt), it was reported ICDA-US received "about 29" motions prior to the Conference. In the Thursday session, the minutes note that "all but one of the [floor] motions will be referred to the Board". The ICDA-US 2023 Conference Meeting Minutes included Appendix C which lists the eight floor motions. The 2023 Motions Report listed 23 motions. Of those 23 motions, eight (8) were made from the floor. Subtracting the eight (8) floor motions from the 23 listed leaves 15 motions submitted prior to the Conference. There seems to be 14 motions unaccounted for.

We also noticed ICDA-US amended the Bylaws prior to the 2023 Boston Conference regarding the Past President position. The ICDA-US Board can now appoint someone to fill the Past President if it becomes vacant. The members did not have a voice in this change and appears to be in violation of the Bylaws Amendment article. However, the minutes does show that an "after-the-fact" motion was made.
